This is a book on "The Peggy Nisbet Story" and her dolls. This book is in mint condition, and is
a hard bound cover. This book is a light-hearted but instructive account of the author's experiences, with all the
ups and downs, disasters and triumphs of creating what was in the 1950's, a new type of doll. Over three years of
research have gone into the preparing of this book, which includes the author contacting old employees and colleagues
who worked with her in the early days, now over 35 years ago. This book is illustrated with 32 pages of color and
over 200 black & white illustrations which have made it a visual delight. Sue Worth's free and flowing sketches, so
well suited to the subject, have added to the artistic merit of this book, making it an enjoyable addition to any
bookshelf, whether of a doll enthusiast or a lover of well illustrated books.
This wonderful hardcover reference book is in mint condition with almost no wear to the cover. This book is OUT OF PRINT and is hard to find
