1950's Wooden Doll Carriage. Carriage is made of wood, painted navy blue, with light blue accents. The outer edge is padded and matches the interior. There is a zippered compartment on the inside of the carraige on the one wall. A wooden door at the rear of the carriage opens up allowing the interior to extend so the doll is not cramped inside. There is a small piece of wooden trim on the outside which is missing, but is easily replaced. The metal frame of the carriage is covered in black oilcloth which is in excellent condition with the exception of a 1" slit on the top which is hardly noticeable. The carriage sits on a metal frame with metal springs and white rubber wheels with metal spokes and is pushed by a chrome handle which shows very little wear. The tread on the wheels is in fabulous condition and all of the hub cabs are present and also in excellent condition. The carriage measures 34" long (including the handle), 34" high, and 14" wide. This has been in my collection for years but no longer have the room to display it properly.
