Celebration in Silk was created by
Mary Beth Jefferds and Robert Tonner of the Effanbee Doll Company for the United Federation of Doll Clubs 55th National Convention held in Kansas City, Missouri
in 2004. She is 16" tall and made of jointed vinyl. She has
painted features, beautiful facial coloring, and rooted red hair pulled back into a tight roll at the base of the neck.
Celebration In Silk is a limited edition doll of 200. She is dressed in a blue silk suit trimmed in black embroidery
with matching hat. The jacket is pleated for an exeptional fit. The blouse is a floral print on black with flared sleeves
that peek out from the wrist of the suit. The blouse ties at the neck in accompaniment with the fashions at the time.
The blouse and suit are lined entirely in white silk. Exquisite! Black beaded buttons run down the front of the blouse. Accessories include beaded earings, a matching silk clutch, oversized hat, lapel corsage and black felt shoes.
She is in mint condition, complete with her original box
