German Doll Encyclopedia 1800-1939 is a comprehensive book about antique dolls written by Jurgen & Marianne Cieslik in 1985 and printed by Hobby House. It is now out of print and one of the most sought after reference books to date. It is a huge 11 1/2" by 12" hardcover volume, complete with dust jacket. The dust jacket does show some signs of wear, but the book inside is just perfect.

It has 356 pages and there are three parts to the index. 1. General Index, 2. Index of mold marks...alphabetical, numerical, and number series. It is extremely organized with over 2000 color and black and white photographs. This book has been written by two of the most highly repected authorites on German dolls.
