Shirley Temple Paperdolls were manufactured by Whitman in 1976. This 1979 Whitman (Western publishing company Racine, Wisconsin) box of Shirley Temple Paper Doll is from the Random House Archives. It was selected as the best example at the time to be saved for filing by the manufacturers for the company's records. This means that it remained uncut and unplayed with from 1976 to today. No one thought to collect these and most were played with. Their packaging was a box which was easily damaged in one way or another. This remains one of the finest examples you'll ever find of this item as nothing was ever used. There is one cardboard doll with plastic stand. The unpunched sheet has 23 pieces of wardrobe. Not a crease, not a wrinkle, not a scratch on these items. The box is great shape with almost no wear with glossy and deep colors.
