Miss America Barbie, Stock #8697, was manufactured by Mattel in 1972. Her original box is in really poor condition, but the doll is mint. Her makeup is flawless with no rubs or retouches and still still has the original plastic covering her hairdo. Her hair is still in the original factory set and her original crown is still sewn on her head.

She comes dressed in her white gown with gold lame' bodice, white banner, and red cape with faux ermine trim. The doll and clothing are as close to mint as you'll get. The scepter and shoes are missing. This doll is from an adult collector's collection and comes from a non-smoking environment.
