"Gretchen High ...makes the most colorful rugs out of strips of old cloth...and she braids them just like her hair." She is 9" tall and made of wood with the two signature dots that serve as her eyes. Her red hair is styled in braids accented with string bows. She comes dressed in her original blue plaid dress and linen apron. At her neck she wears a red wooden heart broach with a rope bow. In her lap is a braided rug that she's working on. She sits on a wooden bench with a wicker basket on top filled with balls of cloth strips to finish her rug. She is in excellent condition, complete with her original hangtag dated 1987, as well as her original accessories.
