Ladie and Friends, Inc. are the designers and creators of The Family and Friends of Lizzie High© collectible wooden dolls. The company is a family owned and operated business located in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Country life, parenting and cherished childhood memories together with a strong sense of family history and pride continue to provide company founders, Barbara and Peter Wisber, with a wellspring of inspiration for their creations. Their dolls capture the spirit of universal delights and simpler times when there were games to be played, friends to be made, wonderlands and adventures to experience, and lessons to be learned. These whimsical wooden folk dolls are an updated version of handcrafted ones from the past. And to personalize each doll, they have lovingly borrowed the wonderful names from their own family. The innocence and joy that the Wisbers have captured in their art has brought them into a close, consistent and harmonious partnership with collectors worldwide. SABINA VALENTINE™ is made of wood, has the signature two dots for eyes, and is 9" tall (seated). She was available in the Fall of 1992 and is now retired. She comes with her hangtag which reads:
SABINA VALENTINE™ (second edition)...gathers eggs each day and sells them to earn money for dance lessons...and candy.

She is all original with brown curly hair accented with a red bow. She wears a blue, red, and white plaid dress with wood heart brooch at the neck topped with a linen pinafore apron. On her lap is some taffy candy. Her accessories include a paper bag filled with taffy candies.
