Calico Bush was written in 1931 by Rachel Field, who is a famous author who wrote Hitty, Her First Hundred Years. The book is in fabulous condition, complete with original dust jacket, with the original wood engravings by Allen Lewis. On the side pages, it is stamped "NOT FOR RESALE", so this must have originally been a library book or a display copy.
