Royal Barbie, #1601, was manufactured by Mattel and first offered in 1979 and is the first edition. The box includes the doll, long dress, sash with medals, scepter, crown, necklace, ring, earrings, and doll stand. Also these package cutouts - scenic poster, tickets, map of England, Guide to London book, money, and passport. She is a very rare & collectible doll since it is from the ORIGINAL 1979-1980 (test market) "1st Edition" of the International Series that was sold exclusively in the finer department stores.

The doll was purchased new by an adult collector and is in fabulous condition. The original price tag from Pomeroy's is still attached to the end flap. The doll is NRFB.
