"The Doll With The Magic Wand" is a fairy tale that was written by Mary Hoyer for her granddaughter when she was a child. This series was first introduced in 1990 and was completed in December of 1997. This series of dolls featured seven characters. Each storybook character in the Mary Hoyer Collection was produced in a limited edition of 2,000. The first doll, The Doll With The Magic Wand, was accompanied by a wonderfully illustrated first edition hard-bound copy of Mary Hoyer's fairy tale. Subsequent character dolls in the Mary Hoyer Collection include: Princess Tyrina, Bogie the Servant Boy (her friend), his father Peblo, the majestic King and Queen, and Mandy (the handservent). All of the dolls in this collection were dressed in costumes of intricate detail, designed by Mary Hoyer herself.

Prince Bogie is a character from the book, "The Doll with the Magic Wand" written by Mary Hoyer and the doll manufactured by The Mary Hoyer Doll Company. He is number 863 in a limited edition of 2000. Prince Bogie is 14" tall, is fully jointed and made of vinyl, with blue painted eyes, and an applied blonde wig still in the original style. He is numbered on his neck and signed on his foot.

He comes dressed in his original tagged navy blue tunic top trimmed in gold braid and lace, matching breeches, white socks, and brown boots. Some of the other dolls from this series are also being offered for sale, all with matching numbers. They all come in their original boxes.

Prince Bogie, from The Doll With The Magic Wand series by Mary Hoyer, is in fabulous all original condition. He comes with his signed Certificate of Authenticity, he is signed on his foot, all in his original box.
