Strinking Gold, #96407, was designed by Dolly Cipolla and manufactured by Ashton-Drake Galleries for Mel Odom. It was made for the Gene doll, but also fits other similar sized dolls such as Tyler Wentworth, Sydney, etc. It was first offered in 1995.

"Striking Gold" is a glittering gold jersey knit sheath with a rhinestone accented portrait neckline, and a lining of shell-pink satin. This comes with matching golden knit gloves, and a tasseled, beaded silken stole in pale chartreuse and shell pink. Accessories include a "golden star" bracelet and matching earrings to celebrate her award, as well as golden high-heeled sandals. Outfit is NRFB and comes with story card, certificate, and all in the original box.
