Wendy Bride was manufactured by The Madame Alexander Doll Company in 1950. She is 20" tall, is a strung doll, and made of hard plastic. She has blue sleep eyes with perfect lashes, vibrant facial paint, and reddish brown mohair wig still in the original style. The doll itself is in fabulous condition with no damage, odors, or repairs.

She comes dressed in her all original bridal ensemble. Her bridal gown is in two parts. The underdress has a white satin skirt with attached net bodice with long sleeves. A white satin sleeveless overdress with full net skirt and attached net slip fits over the underdress. It is tagged "Wendy Ann". Underneath are white satin panties, hose, blue ribbon garder, and ecru centersnap shoes. On her head is her crocheted headpiece and very long net train trimmed in lace. The netting on the skirt of the overdress as well as the veil does have some holes here and there and there is a spot on the netting of the overskirt on the side, but it's hidden in the folds of the dress. In her hand, she carries her original flower bouquet with ribbon streamers. Overall, the doll displays very well and is a hard to find size.
