Pos'n Tammy is a very popular fashion doll that was manufactured by The Ideal Toy Corporation in the 60's. She is 12" tall and is made of vinyl. Pos'n Tammy is so named because she has pliable limbs that can be bent to take on more life-like positions. The doll's body is jointed at the shoulders and hips, and she has a swivel head. Her beautiful and completely intact facial painting includes brown eyebrows, blue upper eyeliner, black upper lashes, blue side glancing eyes with black pupils and white reflective dots, very rosy cheeks and a fire engine red lip color. Her auburn rooted hair is styled in a short bob and has no cuts or missing plugs. She is marked on her back: "c.1965/IDEAL(in an oval)/T-12".

She wears a red knit one piece jump suit with large white cotton collar and bow accent. The suit closes at back with three working snaps. The seam at the back near her seat is beginning to fray, other than that the outfit has no stains, tears, or repairs.

She comes in her origianl telephone booth box which has a clear hard plastic lid that swings open. The blue box has a hard plastic telephone, a seat and a cardboard background printed with a white picket fence and potted flowers. The box top is scratched and the paper background has a red line stain. The box has a paper label one the bottom end that is in excellent condition and gives the Ideal stock number: 9105. The label on the lid is worn, but it shows the Posn Tammy doll in various positions. The box is aprox. 12 1/2 " long.
