Scrooge & Marley Counting House, #6500-5 from The Dickens Village Series, was introduced in 1986 and retired in 1995. The office of Scrooge and his departed partner, Jacob Marley, in "A Christmas Carol". A counting house kept books and transacted business for different customer accounts - you would go to a Counting House to borrow money or repay a loan. The building is simple rectangular shape. The bottom story is brick and the second story is plastered and has shuttered windows. It is lighted from the back with a small night light-type bulb with a cord that has an on/off switch.

Scrooge & Marley Counting House, from The Dickens Village Series, comes in it's original box with all accessories, still in it's original styrofoam container with sleeve. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs.
