Ladie and Friends, Inc. are the designers and creators of The Family and Friends of Lizzie High© collectible wooden dolls. The company is a family owned and operated business located in historic Bucks County, Pennsylvania. Country life, parenting and cherished childhood memories together with a strong sense of family history and pride continue to provide company founders, Barbara and Peter Wisber, with a wellspring of inspiration for their creations. Their dolls capture the spirit of universal delights and simpler times when there were games to be played, friends to be made, wonderlands and adventures to experience, and lessons to be learned.

These whimsical wooden folk dolls are an updated version of handcrafted ones from the past. And to personalize each doll, they have lovingly borrowed the wonderful names from their own family. The innocence and joy that the Wisbers have captured in their art has brought them into a close, consistent and harmonious partnership with collectors worldwide. Doll lovers of all ages continue to be touched by the humorous and tender antics of Lizzie High©, and her friends and family.

Marisa Bowman™ is 10" tall and made of wood with the two signature dots that serve as her eyes. She has light brown curly hair and is missing her nose. Dated 1986, her hang tag reads:

"Marisa Bowman™...and her little brother, Petey, always go to Mrs. Olsen's house first on Halloween...she makes the best candy apples."

She comes dressed in her original Halloween costume. She's dressed as a witch in a long black robe and black felt pointed hat. Around her waist is a twine belt with attached sack tied with a leather tie and a matching bow at her neck. In her hand she carries a paper shopping bag that has a candy apple and a gingerbread man inside. She also carries her original broomstick. She has her original hangtag dated 1986 and is now retired.

She is in excellent condition and originally retailed at $89.00.

Price: $14.95
