Little Red Riding Hood was designed by Diana Effner and manufactured by Ashton-Drake. She is a limited edition doll that was first offered in 1989 and is from The Heroines From the Fairy Tale Forests of the Brother Grimm series. She is 15" tall with porcelain head, arms, and legs on a poseable cloth body. She has blue stationary glass eyes, beautiful facial coloring, and applied auburn wig still in the original factory set.

She comes dressed in her original hand-tailored blue and red dress with an embroidered, woven half apron with fringe, white cotton bloomers, red hooded cape, white knit socks, and black vinyl shoes & knit socks. She has her basket lined with a red and white checked cloth and filled with a loaf of bread and a jar of jam. It is still enclosed in the original plastic bag.

She has never been removed from her original box, only to be photographed. Her arms and legs are still wrapped in the original bubblewrap. She also comes packed in her original cellophane bag along with her certificate of authenticity and doll brochure. She will be shipped in her original shipping carton. She would make a nice addition to any collection.
